Directions For Use:

• Prepare the wound according to standard protocol

• All cleansing solutions and skin protectants dry completely

• Remove and discard the centre cut-out piece when using Clarop dressing sizes in the original frame design

• Expose the adhesive surface by peeling the printed liner from the dressing

• View the site through the film and centre the dressing over the wound. Do not stretch the dressing during application

• Gently remove the paper frame from the dressing while smoothing down the dressing edges

• Then smooth down the entire dressing, from the centre out to the edges. Use firm pressure to enhance adhesion

• Apply the label to the edge of the dressing or directly on the skin. Document dressing change information before removing the identification label from the frame

Medifin has interlocking threads which minimise fraying when the dressing is cut to shape. The dressing is permeable to air and fluid, allowing exudates to drain freely into an absorbent secondary dressing and minimises the risk of skin maceration. Medifin Dressing is also suitable for patients with sensitive skin.
